There’s something sweet about the changing of the seasons. Whether it’s the warmth and greenery that spring brings or the return of migratory birds, March is one of our favourite months out of the year! The sweet taste of spring is alive with Westfield Heritage Village‘s Maple Syrup Festival! During Sundays in March (and Wed/Thurs of March Break) and Good Friday, discover Canada’s most time-honoured and tasty traditions!
Explore the grounds of Westfield using our self-guided maps. Watch live demonstrations by our talented volunteers dressed authentically as early settlers. Enjoy pop up activities throughout the day and fun photobooths perfect for social media! Venture to the Sugar Shack for a sweet tasting of Westfield’s very own maple syrup. Be sure to visit the Gift Shop to stock up on baked goods and other sweet treats. Kids will love the tractor-drawn wagon rides around the village!
Don’t forget to stop in the Ironwood for a delicious (& reasonably priced!) breakfast including pancakes and ham or sausage. Choose to drizzle them in syrup to get the full experience!
The ever so gracious St. George Lions will be providing the food/drinks again this year.
